G’DAY, G’DAY!
My name: Oliver Nordh. I’m a 24 years old photographer currently residing in Sweden. I favour film photography, although I don’t shoot analog exclusively. I’d say portraiture is the reason I got into the game to begin with, but now it’s damned difficult to make a narrow statement as to preferred subject matter or style. I enjoy street, fashion, art and journalistic photo alike, but I never feel comfortable staying within the boundaries of either genre for very long.

I gather inspiration mainly from films and TV. I very much like Wes Anderson’s purified aestetics and humour, Hayao Miyazaki’s nature-ever-prevailing idealism and strong characters, Woody Allen’s painstakingly accurate self-irony; the elegance and melancholy in Brideshead Revisited, the triumphant joy of storytelling in Jeeves & Wooster, the tense excellence in Deadwood, and hardly surprising to anyone: Doctor Who in the current rendition … I could go on, but I clearly come off as enough of a nerd as it is, to be sure.
